On November 20, 2015 Lee and Read Ronk purchased Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with all buildings, equipment and automobiles and assumed responsibility for serving the burial association and pre-need contracts associated with the firm. We would like to reassure the people of Jackson and surrounding communities that the funeral home will continue to serve you with
the utmost dignity and compassion that it has always afforded its families. During this period of transition, we beg your patience and indulgence.
We will render the very best service that we are capable of. There are three licensed funeral directors and embalmers on our staff, all of whom are graduates of Mortuary College where they received the professional training so necessary today in funeral services. We are proud to become a member of the business family of Jackson and surrounding communities. We would like to pay a tribute to Jimmy Lawrence and Bradley Sorensen. They were ethical businessmen who rendered fine service to thousands of families during their business careers. They were fine men that were respected by competitors and consumers alike. We hope that we will be able to serve you so well and so faithfully, with your help and cooperation, we will do our very best.
We would like to say a word of tribute about the staff who helped Jimmy and Bradley, Gerald Smith, Roger Reedy, Tim Sanderson, Judy Putman, Ernest Reeves, John Sorensen, Bill Goss and Kevin Matlock. This community was very fortunate in having such a fine group of men and women to render you faithful service for several years. The community is enriched by having these men and women as citizens. I hope that the patrons of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home will continue to have confidence in our family to help your family. You will find us friendly, capable and willing. Our family has been in the funeral industry for 80 years. Lee and Read have a combined 50 plus years of funeral service experience and pride ourselves in treating each family like we would want to be treated ourselves. Please join us on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 1:00 pm 4:00 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home for open house.
