NOTICE OF ELECTION SCOTLAND COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA The municipal general election for Gibson, Laurinburg, Maxton and Wagram will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Voters will be asked to show photo ID when they vote. All voters will be allowed to vote with or without ID. Voters who lack ID can get one for free from their county board of elections. Precinct 06-89, the Laurel Hill Community Center, located at 14940 Church Street, Laurel Hill, with only (19) eligible voters will be closed for the 2025 Municipal Election only. The 19 eligible voters for the 2025 Municipal Election, can vote during Early Voting, vote an Absentee Ballot or vote on Election Day. On Election Day voters that normally vote at Precinct 06-89 can vote at Precinct 01-16, Scotland County Annex Building, located at 231 E. Cronly Street, Laurinburg. Letters will be mailed to all affect voters with in-depth information. Precinct 06- 89 will reopen for the 2026 Primary Elections. Early voting will be held at the Scotland County Board of Elections Conference Room for Laurinburg and Maxton voters only from Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Saturday, November 1, 2025. The voting hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Canvass will be held in the Scotland County Board of Elections office at 11:00 am on Friday, November 14, 2025. Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters who have requested them beginning October 3, 2025 for Laurinburg and Maxton citizens only. Gibson and Wagram will not be offering absentee by-mail for this election.
